Established in 1973, Chitwan National Park (a UNESCO world heritage site) which is located in the lowlands of south- central Nepal is rated as the best park in Asia and by far the most popular wildlife sanctuary in the country. It also bears significant historical importance. The park preserves a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. This 932 sq. km area of low, heavily forested hills is a great place to relax and experience something different in the tranquility. Visitors will be going into deep jungle on elephant back or four-wheel drive vehicle to view wild animals in their natural habitat. Other thrills are canoe ride, nature walks, birds watching excursions, and village tours and in the evening local Tharu dance.
This National Park offers dense habitat wildlife & natural beauties and sightings of the many wild animals as Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Asiatic one horned Rhinoceros, wild Elephant, marsh Crocodile, wild Boar, sloth bear, and several species of deer including spotted, barking, Sambar, hog deer and more than 350 species of birds .

Today after breakfast you drive to chitwan.It is a beautiful drive following the Trishuli river.The greatest thrill here is to scout for wildlife on the back of an elephant. This national park is enlisted in the UNESCO’s Natural Heritage Site. Once you get to Chitwan your lodge’s resident naturalist will meet to discuss your plans and what activities you would like to do throughout your stay. As part of your package the following activities are normally included: elephant safari, jungle drive in a jeep, bird watching, nature walk, canoeing, ox cart ride, village tours and bathing with an elephant. In the evenings most lodges will organise a cultural show with traditional local Tharu dances and slide shows about Chitwan National Park. Overnight: Royal Park. Meals included: B, L, D
Full day in Chitwan National Park for exciting activities like: jungle walk, elephant riding, village visit, canoeing, visit to elephant breeding center, bird-watching etc. Our resident naturalist will guide you through all the activities giving us more insights about the wildlife, flora and fauna in the national park. View of wild and aquatic life like rhinoceros, deer, bear, crocodile, and different birds can make your day there.
